NameGroup Series Ranking Series Rankings - How it works.

It is possible to score more points at certain events than others. So to make this fare on boaters who have only entered 3 select events, we have introduced a formula 1 point system.

To qualify for a series position you must have entered 3 events
Points are awarded for your position within your age group

  1st 10 points
2nd 9 points
3rd 8 points
4th 7 points
5th 6 points
6th 5 points
7th 4 points
8th 3 points
9th 2 points
10th 1 point
11th 1 point
12th 1 point

and so on.  Where you have entered more than 3 events, your lowest score are discarded

Where there is a tie, the actual score in your 3 highest scoring events are added together and taken into account

Points awarded for places takes president over actual scores in events Apologies: because the points are awarded to age groups, it not possible to create an overall series ranking
