Building on the massive increase in entrants to the 2007 series, we have taken the plunge and booked exclusive use at the majority of the venues. So hopefully we can accommodate more youth boaters into the 2008 series. As pervious years, this years Youth Freestyle Series consist of 5 paddling events across the UK. The day is split into two halves, with coaching in the morning followed by a fun freestyle competition in the afternoon. Where events allow we will also hold a boater X or team challenge event where paddlers will race head to head down the river. News:

Following the postponement of the Nottingham event due to flooding we have confirmed a new date. The Nottingham Youth Freestyle event will now be held on Sunday 12th October. If you were originally attending the Nottingham event (7th Sept) and still wish to attend, please can you confirm your place by sending an e-mail to youthfreestyle@hotmail.co.uk Timings for the day will be as per the original date: 9 am registration; Coaching from 10 am; Lunch around 12 Noon; Competition from 1 pm; Results by 5.30 pm.

Unfortunately due to current unpredictable water levels, the river levels at the Boulters site are unlikely to be low enough to run the Youth Freestyle event on the 10th May. We have therefore had to reschedule the event to Saturday the 9th August 2008. We know some of you may have already made travel plans so we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
